Give It Up For Month Three!: Three Month Anniversary

My blog is now three months old!

Until my first Black History Month post was uploaded, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it to month three to be honest. I was scared that people would loose interest if I broke my weekly posting schedule but now I’m seeing that is not the case at all. Besides what looks like a couple of spam accounts, my follower count has continued to slowly climb. People are clicking on my posts the day I post the links to Twitter and Discord and people continue to click on them for a day or two afterwards. So what was there to worry about?

Hindsight is very funny. Anxiety and uncertainty can cause us to think the worst before something even happens. Over time I am coming to grips with the fact that my audience and reach is small but there is still some interest in what I have to say.

I guess since this is all still so new to me that I’m looking for some guidance or feedback to let me know that I’m doing this all “right.” The views and likes should be enough but I guess I want something more interactive like a comment. I have tried in the past to close articles by posing a question to the readers, but alas! I haven’t gotten any comments on my posts except for my first anniversary one. I guess I shouldn’t be too shocked since this site requires people to use their email or log in to a preexisting account that many may not want to use or even have to leave a comment in the first place. I also don’t always follow up with questions or post these questions onto my Twitter to get a reaction there either. But still a comment here or there would be nice to have from time to time because I am genuinely curious about what the people who actually view my posts think about them.

In any case besides that, there isn’t really much to update you all about. I’m currently available for chart readings, just shoot me an email or message me through my website. As for the rest of the month I would say expect to see more smaller readings on celebrities. I’m thinking about doing one on Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and possibly Rihanna as they have all been on my radar recently. But anyways, stay safe and wash your hands!
